Our policies have been developed in alignment with Netball Australia & Netball ACT guidelines

At EGNC, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all players, members, and participants - especially children and young people.


Our policies are developed in alignment with:

  • Netball Australia and Netball ACT guidelines
  • North Canberra Netball Competition (NCNC) requirements
  • Relevant ACT legislation, regulations, and safeguarding frameworks


These policies ensure that EGNC upholds the highest standards of child safety, member protection, integrity, and fairness across all activities.


Our policy governance determines all policies are written and approved by the EGNC Committee with policies reviewed annually or as required by governing bodies.

The objectives of EGNC are to provide the opportunity for players of all ages to learn and play the game of netball in a family friendly and inclusive environment.

These codes of behaviour have been adapted from the Australian Sports Commission. It is expected that everyone associated with the North Canberra Netball Competition will adhere to them.
