At East Gungahlin Netball Club (EGNC), we believe netball is more than a game - it’s about teamwork, friendships, and having fun! Whether you’re new to the sport or an experienced player, we offer a welcoming environment for everyone aged 5–18.

Our story
East Gungahlin Netball Club is a growing community sports club with over 150 registered players. We compete in the North Canberra Netball Competition (NCNC) from April to September (the winter season) and train at the Lyneham netball courts, Southwell Park. For the 2025 season, EGNC had 18 registered teams across the Juniors, Intermediates and Cadets divisions, including a Mixed Cadets team. Supported by the Canberra Netball Association and Belconnen Netball Association, we’re proud to provide a safe, inclusive space for players to thrive.

Figtree Kangaroos 10. 10. 70 defeated Helensburgh Tigers 10. 9. 69
A thrilling encounter saw the Roos come from behind to secure a crucial 1 point victory. Down by 12 points at halftime, captain Jake Morrison sparked the comeback with a brilliant individual goal in the late in the 3rd quarter. Young gun winger Tommy Chen sealed the win with a spectacular off-the-ground finish in the dying minutes. The defensive effort from Mike Stevens and Danny Walsh was outstanding, making crucial tackles when it mattered most.
